So enough happened to warrant another issue of power rankings. So I'll get straight into it.

1. Phoenix Ducks - With the Mountain-Men's loss today Phoenix stands as the clear victor of the western conference with a very lax last two games against the Owls and Baby Slayers. Phoenix will finish the year 15-1 with the 1st seed.

2. Wagner's Meat - I suppose most people would assume Boats N' Hoes to take this slot with the downfall of West Virginia, but not so. While Wagner's Meat lost to the Mountain-Men, it was very close. And they showed supreme dominance over the Boats N Hoes in their confrontation. And with Wagner's last games being against the Gulf Coast Hurricanes and Baby Slayers they will finish 13-3. With the 4th seed, which I think will suit them very well as they will get an easy match-up against the crumbling Eagles.

3. Boats N' Hoes - With their victory over the Mountain-Men they surpass them as the #3 team. The Hoes have lost some crucial games, but they've come on strong their last 4 games. They'll finish 14-2 as the conference #2.

4. West Va Mountain-Men - It seems my prediction about the Mountain-Men had atleast some credit to it. While the Mountain-Men have been able to man-handle the lesser teams of the conference, their offense just isn't showing up when it's time to throw down against a real competitor. Perhaps they will bounce back in the playoffs as they look to likely be playing the Boise Towers.

5. Boise Towers - Speaking of Boise, with their defeat of the Eagles, they've moved themselves up on the power rankings to #5. With their close game with Phoenix I knew these guys would be difficult for the Eagles, it looks like their players and AI has refined itself as the season has worn on and they look to be legitimate competitors heading into the playoffs at a likely 6th seed finish.

6. Columbia War Eagles - The Eagles just haven't been able to get it together offensively all year long, and with their crushing loss to the Towers, it doesn't look to be getting any better any time soon. While the Eagles will finish the season with the 5th seed, they'll need to bring some life to a tired offense if they plan on getting anywhere, especially against Wagner's Meat.

7. San Diego Bulldawgs - San Diego is another team I saw a few games back and thought had potential. And while they are poised to make a playoff debut, their last two games are against the Boats N Hoes, and the Mountain-Men. Nevertheless they're 7th seed bound.

8. Doesn't really matter, to be honest.

More to come in the next few days. Good luck to all on their playoff hunt.
