Warrior General Games

Chicago Bombers pulled out a great win in OT over Rappahannock Valley Generals during one of the best games of the year. Pagan Farm Boys showed they can't hold up against the better teams in the league with a tough loss to HiTech. Freeport beat Elite Proving Grounds 28-21 to claim 8th place in the Eastern Conference. They should hold onto it and make it into the playoffs.

We are falling in the standings... and rightly so with back-to-back loses...

However I have decided tonight... we will not be boosting and spending points before the YellowJackets game...

We will just make the playoffs and beat down whoever we come across...

This was a key game for us, as losing that game would have put us on the wrong side of the playoff bubble. I watched the game replay by replay without seeing the score and it was a fun game to watch that way with so much riding on the line

I doubt you'll need boosts or skill points to win our game tomorrow. It'll be close, that's for sure.

I think I can speak for all the Freeport Wolf Pak that for a team compromised of mostly GLB noobs making the playoffs the first year would be great. I am curious, how do you derive the "quality of play" score. We seem to be not doing so great.

Looking at the setup of the GLB spreadsheet, it predicts a spread between every team. The more you beat the spread by the higher the quality of play. Thats how teams low in the rankings can still have a higher quality of play than team higher in the rankings. Here is the link to the GLBWiki page with the spreadsheet.
