So things have settled pretty much where I expected them after the last two sets of games, which doesn't leave us very different than we were before, but some slight additions to be made.

Power Rankings -

1. West Virginia Mountain-Men - I gave the Ducks the spotlight last write-up, the Mountain-Men can take it for this one. But I can't help but notice the Mountain-Men's offense seems to be sputtering. For instance, against the dukes the Ducks put up 111 points, while as the Mountain-Men put up 73. Does it indicate anything? Not really, after all the Mountain-Men handled Boise fairly easily while the Ducks had a close call. The Mountain-Men still have the Boats N' Hoes and Bulldawgs on the way, so if anyone out there is going to exploit them, it will be those teams. Nevertheless, Mountain-Men will finish the season 15-1, IMO.

2. Phoenix Ducks - With the Ducks close call over Boise, we drop to #2, we would have liked to see a bigger point spread, but I've got to give Boise credit, they surprised me. With the Towers out of the way, no one else has a chance of stopping Phoenix from going 15-1.

3. Wagner's Meat - Wagner's Meat continues to hold onto the #3 position. Wagner's only real competiton moving forwards is Boise, and while it might be a close game I think the Meat, will emerge victorious and onwards to their #3 playoff seed.

4. Boats N' Hoes - With their win over the Eagles they've clearly established themselves as the #4 in the conference, with only the Mountain-Men left to contend with they should have a strong finish.

5. Columbia War Eagles - After the Losses to Wagner's Meat and the Boats N' Hoes, the Eagles are reeling, hopefully they can regroup and get a few more solid wins under their belt. They'll have to be careful though now, as with Boise right on their tails they could easily surrender the #5 seed.

6. Boise Towers - After a close call with the Ducks I have newfound respect for Boise, and makes me wonder whether or not they can pull an upset over the Eagles. The showdown is a few games away, but if Boise can show up for these last 5 games they'll be in excellent shape for the playoffs.

7. San Diego Bulldawgs - The Bulldawgs last two wins have put them in a good spot, if they can keep up the pace they'll upset someone in the playoffs who doesn't take them seriously. They still have a showdown with the Owls later in the season, but for now the Bulldawgs look to be the stronger team.

8. Eugene Owls - Rounding out the final spot is the Owls. With their loss today to the Baby Slayers they're barely hanging on to a play off seed. They'll need to get focused before their game with the bulldawgs if they don't want to see an early off season.

Teetering Team - Baby Slayers, with their win over the Eugene Owls today they come close to breaking into the rankings, but it's their loss to the Tiger-Cats holding them back. With a few more quality wins and a loss from either the Bulldawgs or the Owls they could weasel themselves into the top 8.

Onwards to predictions.

Predictions

1. Phoenix Ducks (10-1) Vs. Mo City Don's (2-9) - Wanton Slaughter?

2. West VA Mountain-Men (10-1) Vs. Baby Slayers (5-6) - The Slayers won't be able to slay the Mountain-Men this week (seeing as they're men, and that's just not their style apparently). Though a closer game than some may think might be in order.

3. Boats N' Hoes (9-2) Vs. Eugene Owls (6-5) - The Owls are going to be on a losing streak after this game with the Boats N' Hoes who should take an easy W.

4. Wagner's Meat (8-3) Vs. Boise Towers (7-4) - I don't think the Towers can pull a win off here, but after their game with the Ducks, I'd be wary to suggest it would be anything less than a close game.

5. Columbia War Eagles (8-3) Vs. Faukland RockHoppers (4-7) - The Rockhoppers just can't get a break as they play 3 top 8 teams in 4 games.

6. San Diego Bulldawgs (6-5) Vs. Gulf Coast Hurricanes (2-9) - Bulldawgs own the Canes.

7. Hamilton Tiger-Cats (5-6) Vs. Kansas City Wizards (0-11) - Hamilton makes the Wizards into Meow Mix.

8. Moinsville Dukes (4-7) Vs. Omaha Jaguars (3-8) - Dukes should win big here without any problems.

That should be everything so far as I can tell.
