Rumors were flying around for a while now that the Matadors were making changes in their organization and speculation was maybe they were folding. Today though in press conference the president of the organization held a press conference to answer questions about what what going with the Stockholm Matadors.
"Last night around 11:30 a.m. After a 3 hour meeting with the team and with the GMs the Matadors have announced that beginning this season or next we will be reorganizing the Stockholm Matadors. This will entail up to 3 teams that will be added to the organization so that the Matadors will have a steady flow of players for all its major and its minor teams. Each player chosen will have to start at the High School Level(pee wee) and work his way to junior college (casual team 16) and work his way up to the college level(casual 24 capped) and then prove that is worthy enough to play on the Matadors team."
As the president of the Matadors I am very pleased with this arrangement since it will keep all 4 teams very competitive and will keep a steady flow of players to all 4 teams involved. This should make the Matador organization very competitive and competing for a lot more titles and prestige to the organization."
