honestly, until a public statement is issued - none of us know that ANYTHING actually happened. Based on past events, i think that would definitely alleviate some of the tension on the boards.

Don't front on Tubby for wanting something to be done, it's frustrating to have this happen, and not have something done about it yet. Now, i realize it's probably in process, but in past events of similar quality, it took forever for something to be done if anything. So there's little reason Tubby has to hold back right now.

But i do think a public issue in this thread would really help to dead it, eh?

I just feel bad for the players on the Gangsters who have invested as much time and money as the rest of us.
They got crapped on. I'll shut up now and the GLB take action if that's what they choose to do.

I dont see a completely gutted team. The team has most of its starters except for a FP, 2 DEs, and an LB. Also, the new owner is bringing in 14 new players by monday so the team will have a full roster and 10 bench players by their game against DDT. They will also be better coached and prepared than they were 3 days ago.

Hmmm 86-0 means the last game wasn't even close to being competitive. :-P

lol I doubt that, this will just get swept under the rug, no need to keep complaining about it anymore. :-)

DD allegedly even tried to get those players for his team, so of course it will get swept under the rug.

What's the point of trying to get to the Pro League if it's this corrupt?

Every season cheaters take a shit all over fair play.

Eh, I had nothing to do with anything that happened with NY Gangsters in the past. However, assuming Bort does allow me to purchase the team, I have about 20 characters between levels 14-18 that I can move over to this team. Hopefully everyone still on Gangsters today will stick it out. If not, I would likely have to weaken the depth chart of one of my other teams and we will have to go outside our group to find FAs... and that is NOT my goal.

I have worked with the other owners in our organization and if most of the guys still on Gangsters do stick with us, I believe all three of our teams will be fine without gutting any of them...

Today was VERY rough. But I won't move my players over to this team until I officially own them... in case something does go awry with that, I don't want to put them in a bad position.

Hopefully NY Gangsters can field a solid, deep team for Tuesday's game...

I just want to say that in the beginning I wanted to only move my players and some of my friend's players to a new team. I didn't realize that after I left, everyone else on the team would want to leave. This is the main reason why the team has become so gutted. If the players, excluding mine, would have stayed on the team, they would have had a full roster plus an extra 14 players which would have been fine. The thing that made this worse were all the teams that sent offers and messages for my players before the team even switched hands.

I dont see this exactly as team gutting because even though all the players left they did not all go to one team. Some went to the Globetrotters, some went to other USA Pro teams, and many were dropped in order to find new homes.

I am very sorry for everyone who this has effected and I never thought that this would get so out of hand. I was simply hoping that my players would be able to leave, and the new manager would take over with no problems from other players and other teams, who helped drain this team. Eventually, probably by next season, this team will be back to normal, and doing well.
