Gotham (AP) -- If there's one things the Punishers aren't, it's arrogant.

After a 0-34 loss to the best of the BBB #6, the Sacramento City Psychos, the Punishers aren't letting their heads hang low.

"I think this was a positive for our squad. We can check the tape and learn more about our flaws, so that we can work them out," defensive standout J Schmoe told the press after the game. Racking up 9 tackles, three of them for losses, the Linebacker was a flicker of light in an otherwise dark room this day.

"We know that if we're going to succeed in this league, we have to win the big games, and I think we're on track" sackdaddy said during the conference. The passing game was halted on the airstrip, with Rico Dynamite throwing under 50% passing, including an interception. The running game was dormant as well, with Baby Carrot and Davor Suker earning under 20 yards each. "It was frustrating", Carrot related to several reporters.

The defense performed admirably, although the effort was not enough to win the dominant South Side Psychos. Sacramento QB Drew Adams, despite hitting 17-26 passes, got no scores, and was relegated to offensive manager. The burden of the offense fell on the three headed rushing attack of Wayniac Maniac, Colin Ramsay, and Cole Spielman, who combined for 261 rushing yards.

Up next on the Punisher's schedule are the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, a team with serious playoff aspirations.
