The Kentucky Enquirer
Week 4- Eastern Conference
By: Mike Concho

On Saturday, the Wildcats kept pace with the Detroit Nasty by defeating the Cleveland Sharks 35-9. The lead was never in doubt as Kelsey Echols (CPU, KY) and Cullen Crouch (CPU, KY) rushed for two short touchdowns in the first half giving the Wildcats a 14-3 lead at halftime.
The Cats came out slow again in the second half, but with 4:38 left in the third quarter, Crouch rushed 5 yards into the endzone for his second touchdown of the game. Two minutes later, Andre Woodson (justafish2002, KY) found Marcel Burden (CPU, KY) 6 yards downfield and Burden took the ball 40 yards for a 28-3 lead after 3 quarters. The Sharks responded by using the Jayden Colon (CPU, CLE) to Frankie Carver (CPU, CLE) connection for the 10 yard score, but Kicker Cortez Madden (CPU, CLE) missed the extra point. Crouch ran it in from 50 yards out on the following possesion for the last score of the win.
"Cullen was absolutly stellar today. He justed showed up ready to play and got some big carries," says justafish2002. "Don't even get me started on Mike. He spent more time in the backfield than on the sideline. He had a fantastic game." CPU responed by saying "1010101111000101000101000100101110111011010100101110110000101011." It sounds like he was disapointed in his defense which allowed 208 yards on the ground and 200 through the air.

The Chuck Norris Nunchucks' Offensive and Defensive players of the game were Cullen Crouch and Mike Owens (Coolwhip, KY). Crouch totaled 114 yards on 16 carries including 3 touchdown runs of 5, 5.5, and 50 yards. Mike Owens had a huge day by getting 9 tackles, 8 sacks, and an amazing 15 hurries.

The Detroit Nasty entered Saturday's game knowing they would need a win to keep pace with the upstart Kentucky Wildcats and that's exactly what they got. Julius Brown (DeWittFootball, DET) led the Nasty (4-0) to a 35-26 victory over the Miami Stingers (0-4). The Nasty established an early lead when Star Quarterback (tiancxo38, DET) passed to Timmy Bravo (CPU, DET) for a 78.5 yard touchdown. Jamie Madrox (Juggalokai, DET) tacked on a field goal for a 13-0 lead after 1 quarter. Madrox book-ended the second quarter by booting two more field goals. Brown's 5 yard TD run was sandwiched between 2 Deangelo Oakes (CPU, MIA) touchdown passes giving the Nasty a 23-12 lead at the break.
Madrox kicked a field goal for the first score of the half, but punter Mista Bigtoe (D-Will, DET) booted a 37 yarder that Alejandro Gann (CPU, MIA) took back to the house after juking out 6 defenders. Madrox ended the quarter with his 5th field goal. The Stingers drew the score to 29-26 when Niko Cohen (CPU, MIA) ran it in from 1 yard away. However, the Nasty secured the win when Brown pounded it in from 4 yards away.
Tiancxo38 said after the game "I think it was because of our weaknesses on defense. They scored 35 on us which I know could have been less if we had any human-owned defensive players." DeWittFootball was not available for comment.

The Lumpy Soup Offensive and Defensive Players of the Game were Julius Brown and Alejandro Gann. Brown rushed for 165.5 yards on 34 carries and rushed for two short touchdowns. Gann returned a punt for a TD, made 6 tackles, while deflecting 3 passes.

I dont think a punt for TD should get the defensive player . Id go with Darrent Bailey and his big INT.
