Maybe move it up. I don't imagine it would be that hard to fit in. And until it's added I can't really use this past Day 40.

Done. (moved up that is)

Getting a 404 on the download link. Savefile.com is a pretty good host if you are having issues with your host.

I've written a Windows application that allows you to estimate leveling and build a virtual GLB player, just like you would on the website (or with a homemade spreadsheet) except faster and without spending flex to test out different build strategies.

For instance if you have an existing player and you want to compare how he would look if you trained Normal for the rest of the season instead of Intense, you can do that easily.

The latest version can be found here:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/zrrzz1mkydw/Builder010.zip

Included in the download is a really bad help file. If you read that and still can't figure it out, please PM me.

To install it, simply unzip the files to a location on your hard disk drive and run the Builder.exe. It will only run on Windows (sorry mac and linux users) and you must have the .Net Framework v2.0 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en )

Please take a look and post back your thoughts and things you think might help make it a more complete tool. With the help of a few fellow GLBers (special thanks to Loco Moco who spent a bunch of time helping me test it), we've started the To Do list already:

1. Add support for boosting players
2. Along with player attributes, automatically import level, Current XP, position, Unspent SP, Unspent BT, Unspent TP.
3. Day Preview (i.e. view player with training/SP spent without calculating the next day's XP)
4. More Help Documentation
5. More grid save options, possibly printing capability based on demand
6. Comparison screen for comparing the differences between two virtual "builds"
7. Support Copy/Paste player page source for importing skill amounts.

Finally, thanks for taking a look. If you can, please PM me (or post back here) with errors, calculation bugs or enhancement suggestions.

It took me a while to figure out what the hell I was doing (I don't believe in readmes and guides, lulz) but it's a bit more efficient than training.txt and calc.exe

Worked great for me. Also scanned it using AVG, found nothing. Very nice work.

This I can't help with. Perhaps I can get it on a personal file space somewhere.

If i had more web development experience I would have tried this. It would be nice if it was a web app and nothing needed to be downloaded. Nor could anyone say "Trojan" or "deleted all my files" or whatever else made up stuff you can come up with

Oh, nice.

From the readme file:

You MUST have .Net Framework 2.0 to run this application. There is no installation. Simply unzip the contents to a folder and run the Builder.exe. To upgrade, simply overwrite your existing files with the new ones.

(edit)

nm, I see you edited that in.

If you have the right programs, it works great.

Unfortunately, Mac users always get left out.

Which is also why my new computer isn't a Mac.
