*we tune in on a segment of MAX Sports with Todd Harvey and Glenn Campbell*

Todd: That was a remarkable game by the defending champs.

Glenn: Looking good out of the gate, we'll see if they can hold onto that momentum going further into the season.

Todd: From the veteran teams we now turn our focus on the new collection of teams just entering the massive labyrinth of leagues known as the GLB. Tonight Samantha Conners sat down with the head coach of the San Antonio Rahls, to ask him about the signing of Ohio State standout Vito Logozzo. Sam...

*the camera now takes us to a dimly-lit, blue-hued room*

Samantha: Thanks, Todd. Well, as Todd said I'm here with Rone Rahl, General Manager and owner of the San Antonio Rahls...

Rone: *smiling* Glad to be here, Sam.

Samantha: Well, I'm sure you know how these sessions go, we have four downs, or subjects to ask you about.

Rone: *laughing* Let's hope you ask the right questions.

Samantha: *smiling* Let us find out. First Down, how do you feel about your team?

Rone: Well, these kids have a lot of heart, Samantha. Day in and day out they are watching film and practicing on the field for our upcoming game. There is a reason we are 3-0.

Samantha: Are they getting along well? A lot of times we see new teams introduced to this sport or that league and from that stems a lot of turmoil, as there is no veteran leadership to follow.

Rone: That is not entirely true, Samantha. There will always be veterans in the clubhouse, whether coaching or playing. And we did pick up a couple of terrific individuals from last season. Bill[George], for one, has been an inspirational leader on defense.

Samantha: And what about your offense?

Rone: Pat[theDog] is the veteran there. I believe his maturity and intensity has positively rubbed off on the new guys. I mean look at what Jonny[Reed] has done for us. He came in here to take backup snaps from [Hu] Chandler, and now he's arguably the best quarterback in the BBB5.

Samantha: Alright, coach second down. You ready?

Rone: *smiling* I'm always ready, Sam.

Samantha: What team, and you can not choose your own, do you feel is the strongest from top to bottom, in your league?

Rone: The Minnesota Skulls. My coaches have been running around game-planning for this one since week one. I honestly, don't know who is the better team, but I do know that come game day there is going to be a LOT of electricity on that football field.

Samantha: Fair enough, third down. If you had to choose one MVP for offense and one MVP for defense from your team, who would it be at this point?

Rone: Ahh geez... it's hard to say when everyone is performing like they are now.

Samantha: Well coach, we need an answer.

Rone: Hmph... Well, it would be [Johnny] Reed on our offense. Six TDs and one pick, good numbers. For defense, it would have to be [king]hippoe. This guys is like superman, he lifted my jeep! Oh, and he is the league leader in sacks.

Samantha: Ok last one coach. Can you talk about your Ohio State standout signing?

Rone: Vito[Logozzo] is a hoot. Great guy, a LOT of energy. He's doing most of what we ask, so I can't complain. You know what he did as a Buckeye, I think everybody does. This kid is headed for stardom. We were ecstatic to get a deal done with him, and his attitude has really motivated the team to great things this season. We hope Vito will stay with us a long time, and keep that energy in the locker room.

Samantha: Alright coach, thanks for the time. Back to you Todd and Glenn.

Same here, I just hope I don't get any more gray hairs game-planning for it.
