The Fresno Snakes named Will Thompson Defensive Corridinator today. Thompson, who is also the team's backup Strong Safety, was given the job after his scouting of the Texas Teabaggers' offense helped give the Snakes a 24-21 win. It also gave a chance for star Defensive End Brian Windfury to collect 5 tackles. When asked about this "promotion", Thompson said "This is cool. It's not often you get to coach and play. It's like a player-manager back in the 30s in the MLB. I like this."
