still doesnt solve the parity issue, which will lead to more gutting, once these fancy new things get implemented, thats the one problem I have with idea is that it throws parity out the window

not yet, been racking my brain, because I want this implemented cuz I think it's a kick ass idea, the only solution that is a viable one is (dont throw shit at me) revenue sharing, and I know most people don't like it, but so far, I repeat so far it is the only thing I can think of to help solve the problem

What do you think about using T.V., Radio and Print Advertisements?

My not so well thought out idea at this moment;

The entire conference (or even league) is given Advertising contracts each year. The contract amounts would be determined by the winning percentage and attendance of the conference (or league) combined.

The contract money would then go into a "Conference (or league) Advertisement Income" pool. At the end of the season (before promotions/demotions of teams) the money is then split amongst the teams. This would allow each team to receive the same amount of money, on top of the money the would earn each season anyways.

The stadium upgrade could be made to where you must use the "Advertisement Income" to purchase them. This way each team would have the same amount of money to use for upgrades.

Like I said, this is just my short and not so well thought out idea......I need feedback!

I like this, it's a form of revenue sharing that helps everyone and not really taking away from the good teams in the league, I maybe wouldn't tie it to the stadium upgrades exclusively, but I think you are on the right track

I will post this idea into the regular "Suggestion Forum" and see what happens. Post there what you think also.

Awhile back i had mentioned something about a treatment facility and team doctors but i didnt put the effort in like you just did bro.
All the other stuff is amazing as well. Of course the prices are a good starting point but i'd like to see construction costs raised too for them.

I am open to suggestions on how to improve the idea.

So far the only feed back that I have gotten is;

Starting prices of upgrades needs to be raised
Ability of rich teams to purchase the upgrades and get better vs. poorer teams not being able to purchase upgrades. (rich get richer, poor get poorer).

Any ideas on how to solve these?

I have also updated the OP to reflect this:

"There could also be a factor that would determine how old each upgrade is, and therefore billed even more money to the Maintenance Contract. Think of a 20 Year old stadium roof costing more to maintain than a 2 Year old stadium roof (logical to me)."

Don't get caught up in the parity problem. We (GLB) are making progress on that.

The OP suggested some nice bells and whistles that can be added in.

I like bells and whistles.

To expand on the ideas of staff, I think it would be interesting if agents were able to create trainers/doctors like they do with players. It would make staffing your team fairly interesting. Don't know what all the different attributes and skills would be, but it would be another route to break up monotony for some.

my problem is that if you add this, then the parity you created as a fix gets destroyed upon implementation, thats what makes me warry of this, new teams will be at a complete disadvantage with older teams in the leaugue, dont get me wrong I like this suggestion thats why I've been helping come up with ideas to fix this problem before it gets implemented so we dont break the parity fix that is being put into place
