The Gulf State Demons open their season tonight at home playing the New York Strikers. The GSD will feature their rookie QB Kristian Klausen. His favorite target will be the star of the Demons- Alan Thompson. Thompson had a sub-par rookie campaign starting only 3 games, but will be the go-to receiver. The Demons also feature studs on defense- NT Junior Dredd and FS Jay B. Thompson. Both men only started 4 games last year but both look to be the playmakers on defense. The Demons on paper look like a tough team to stop but the Strikers will be a stiff 1st game opponent.
