Zack Bellerdi told NFL Net Work Adam Scheftar that he is getting unhappy with his playing time and team. It was rumored he got into an exchanging of words with a player in which the owner had to step in. Bellerdi offered no comment when asked about the situation, but when asked about his role with the team said.
"We aint winning and the last time we won I was 14-for-19 with three touchdowns," He said. "Numbers don't lie."
He hasn't started in awhile and his contract is up after this year. He has been rumored to be shopping himself around and defended his decision.
"I just want to play and win," He said. "I feel that Manitoba never gave me a true chance to demonstrate my commitment and talent with the team. I am grateful of the chance that was presented to me by the owner, but I think it might be time."
No other comments were made and his agent Andy Rosenhaus was unavailable for comments. However Bellerdi said he is looking for a team to give him a chance to play and win.
