ATTENTION ALL NEW FREE AGENTS
So here we are a new season is upon us and here you are, sitting there with no team. I got an idea, how about you come join the Belfast Defieance? Ya I know who the hell are we? We are a previously gutted (Ouch I know your going to quit reading right now aren’t you, be honest gutted is like death sentence when trying to sign free agents) team located in Western Europe A #6. I know the few of you that are left are thinking, since when is there a Western Europe League, and when did that get “A” leagues. I was just as surprised as the rest of you when that was the league I was handed. Here I am sitting here on the eve of the team hand out recruiting all these level 13 capped players, but too my surprise I was handed this team instead. It has its positives and negatives. Positives being I can sign whoever I want, negatives being NO ONE wants to sign with a gutted team. Well I can’t say no one we have brought in close to 10 solid free agents and some more via trades to start a base roster. We had a fairly impressive win in our season opener winning 52-7! Right now we are looking for players at all positions for depth. If you level is up there and your build is good enough we are looking for starters in several of the positions.
Now I can’t guarantee you a playoff team even though I think we will make the playoffs easily. But I can guarantee you tons of playing time, a fair contract, a great owner (that’s me) and a fairly active forum that is growing by the day.
