A'ight , was just to be picky

But yeah that's the prob with some of us , I've never played D-league so I had to adjust my skills all the time to be just a little bit effective .

yea thats the big difference for me i guess i build my players to be effective their 2nd season instead of "alright" in their 1st

different strokes id personally rather have a drop dead sexy level 16 with a shitty 1st season then a soso level 16 that has been doing soso his whole career

I could've swore that I read somewhere (from a Bort post) that it costs TWO skill points to raise one point once a category got to 50+. If your reciever was a level 9 then it earned a total of 45 skill points up to that point. Even if you rolled a 20 for speed when you created the player, and then dedicated every single skill point to speed it would only equal 65.. and that's not factoring in the TWO points per point it would take after the category got to 50+.

I'm finding it really, really, really, hard to believe that you got your recievers speed up to 70 at level 9. just sayin.

EDIT
I forgot about equipment.. but still.

Yeah King but consider this :

Custom : +6 speed
Normal equipment : +8 speed

That's +14 speed and that would mean a base speed of 56 , and with the .33 you get per level that would also be some , so really not that hard to believe is it ?

Nope, not at all. I also read another thread where he kind of broke down a bit of his building strategy.. it makes plenty of sense now. I also didn't count in the free points awarded as you said

yea i got it to 48-49 area - put all my equipment into speed, and blew like 10 skill points to get 5 more speed putting it just under 70 at the time, 69.68 or something

after i fix my agi, put 5-10 points into jumping/vision/stamina ill probably go back to bumping speed - shooting for 80-85 by level 20
