Sorry for missing the past couple of coverages, had some crazy stuff going on back home. Anyways, made it back in time for the playoffs and things look set up to be a fun and crazy one. So here we go!

Western Conference - Round 1

1.) Mississippi Mud Dogs (16-0) vs. 8.) Blackfoot Broncos (8-8)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=7881&team2=7648
The MMD has rolled through the West, undefeated. The Broncos struggled early on in the seaosn, but their play improved with every game, and their determination earned them some great upsets. Though they were just shut out by MMD, I don't expect them to back down, and hopefully we'll see them improve. However, I don't think it'll be near enough for a win against the top seed of the West.

4.) Chicago Terminators** (12-4) vs. 5.) Chicago Mobsters (11-5)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=6771&team2=6830
Ahaha, this one's gonna be epic. The teams from Chicago face off again, this time in the postseason for a chance to face off between the winners MMD/Broncos game. The last time these two teams played, the Terminators shutout the Mob. The Terminators went on to lose only one game the rest of the season, while the Mob sprung out some shockers on us, keeping up with Cleveland and having a close loss to Bowling Green. I'm expecting a much closer game this time around, seeing how the Mob has improved since then. I still think the Terminators will pull this one out though.

2.) The Agency (14-2) vs. 7.) Chicho's Bail Bonds Bears (9-7)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=7889&team2=6875
Another game which features two teams that met at the end of the season. The Agency got the upper hand in the last match up between the two teams, but the Bears showed they can score with the best of them. This match-up features two teams who were very quiet at the beginning of the season as far as hype and recognition goes (relatively speaking anyways), but put up very respectable showings during the regular season. I see another close game in the works, with both teams adjusting to each others' weaknesses since it was such a close game, but The Agency taking it all.

3.) Cleveland Warriors (13-3) vs. 6.) Thunder Bay Wolfpack (11-5)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=7725&team2=7799
The Warriors will be looking for a rematch with The Agency, who took the 2nd seed from them, but they have to get through the Wolfpack first, definitely not the easiest of tasks. Yet another game which features two teams who met in the last game of the season, the Wolfpack will definitely have the information they need to make adjustments. But will it be enough to overcome the Warriors? With the Warriors rejuvenated by the return and settling in of all their coordinators, I think they'll be ready to take on whatever the Pack throws at them.

Showing some love for the East. I don't know enough about you all, but if you could drop a line, or your thoughts on the games, that'd be great!

Eastern Conference - Round 1

1.) Madison Muskies (16-0) vs. 8.) League 10 Lab Rats (8-8)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=7530&team2=7484
This matchup is looking very familiar. On paper, it looks to be the equivalent of the West's top seed match. The Muskies have had a dominating season, and the last time these two teams met, they shut out the Lab Rats. Things seemed to be aligned for Madison as they aim for the Championship.

4.) Dyslexik Tedd's Monntana Clubb Football (12-4) vs. 5.) Sacramento VIKINGS Pee Wees (12-4)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=7491&team2=6894
This match-up looks to be pretty damn interesting. Two teams with storied pasts and reputations face off to get a shot at the Conference's top seed. I really have no idea who'll win this one so guess away.

2.) Dunwich Demon Hunters (15-2) vs. 7.) Trenton Tans (10-6)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=6946&team2=7536
The Hunters have had an amazing run this season, losing only one game (against the top seed of the conference). The Tans have had an up and down season, and were able to snag a spot in the playoffs. At this point, DDH seem pretty unstoppable and will be aiming for another shot at the one team that beat them.

3.) Brooklyn Boncrushers (13-3) vs. 6.) Houston Hurricanes (10-6)
With only three losses to arguably the best teams of the East, the Bonecrushers look poised to take this match up. The last time these teams played was all the way back in Week2, where the Hurricanes only managed a field goal on them. The Canes have shown some ability to move the ball on some very tough defenses, but I don't think it'll be enough.

Feel free to discuss/debate/etc.

If MMD wins I hate the fact that we have to face the winner of the Chi-Townpalooza bowl. Definitely not a typical 4th/5th seed game, feels like I'm facing a 2nd/3rd place winner game already.

I honestly lol'd at the this ^ But I would agree if I were in your spot. Then again, assuming we win our game means we face off With either the Warriors or the Pack. And I KNOWWW the Warriors have painted a huge bullseye on us for knocking them off second.

What interests me the most is seeing where DTMCF is right now in standings. I wonder if they're suddenly gonna go crazy or something, though Madison, Dunwich and Sacramento are also no joke.

We've got our spot reserved in Gold already

(For the record, I never said L10 would be the champs, but Deep South)

I was shocked at how DTMCF and Sac did this season, expected each to be in Gold next season (until I saw the leagues of course)

This has been a really disappointing season for Chico. We had been one of the early dynasties of Pee Wees knocking off some teams that are currently gold and putting together a huge 2 season win streak in a very tough division. We'll be back next year and we won't be an easy win, but the plan is to take next year's Chico team up to a 16 cap and keep them together. I have to give a lot of credit to the teams in this league. I think one of the things that appealed to me about Pee Wee is that we didn't have to game plan for every game--I believe those days are definitely over and that is probably a good thing.
