the current "HOF" is a ranking, not a bunch of players with a GLB HOF ranking.
so basically every player is in the HOF atm.

I like that every player has a ranking. But they should make a separate thing for actual HOF'ers

Had a thought.....
Active players are currently showing up in the HOF.... kind of odd if you ask me.
My thought.... not sure if it was posted up but I am not going through 8 pages to look for it.
Obviously... if there is no name attached, it goes away. If you were that good but not smart enough to save the name, you don't deserve the spot.
The HOF will have 2 sections... Active vs Retired.
The Retired section will only contain Retired players with names.... pretty simple. Want to stay in the HOF???? Keep the name.
The Active section will have the active players current HOF rank as well as the potential/accurate location if they were to retire on that day.
HB - Joe Blow Runner - 1500/2500
This way... a player getting ready to retire will get to see where they would stand in the retired section.

Even better, make a HOF for each league tier (WL HOF, Pro HOF, etc.). One option would be that a dot only shows up in one HOF (based on the highest level he played at), and is ranked against the other dots in that HOF by career stats. Another option would be to have a player be in the HOF for each tier he played in, with his ranks based on their impact while playing in that tier (minimum 2+ seasons?). Either one would be fine with me, or both, or another that someone else thinks of; as long as this thing gets changed.
I also agree with the active/retired option, especially with the blank players. If you don't keep the name, the player doesn't go in the HOF...I think that is only fair.
