Yep, agreed ... we've all been duped into paying for an online game that will never make it out of beta

Reapers will struggle this season for sure. We're gunna be 2 levels behind most teams for the entire season

But at least our kicker has MVP EQ!

I havnt had to buy flex for at least 7 or 8 seasons, but he got my money for the first 10 or 12 seasons

Was pretty excited about this season until we decided not to boost at all until last day of season. I really hate you all!

You guys need a new mathematician because that's a mistake. Just saying.

got this from somewhere......not sure where to footnote credit, was copied from another forum somewhere

For my guys who are level 32, I'm going to wait until the end of the season in order to squeeze the most I can out of them.

Here's why:

Being level 32, I'd gain 375 xp per game (regardless of playtime - they did away with playtime dependencies for xp a few seasons ago for those that didn't notice). So I'll gain 6 levels (16 * 375 = 6000 = 6 levels - playoff games don't provide xp). I'll also gain 50 xp a day up until level 41, so I'll earn 2 levels just from being on the team every day (50 * 40 = 2000 = 2 levels). This would take my level 32 d0t up to level 40 from seasonal xp, I then boost at the end of the season taking my d0t up to level 43.

If I boost my level 32 dot now up to level 35, then it works out like so. Game xp is unchanged (up until level 53) so I'm gaining 6 levels (16 * 375 = 6000 = 6 levels). The hit comes on the daily xp. At about day 25/26 (depending on our game rotation) you'll have reached level 41. As soon as you hit level 41, your daily xp drops in half, so your end of season total would be less than 2000 (it'd be about 1625), so you're only gaining 7 (10 with boosts) levels total on the season as opposed to 8 (11 with boosts).

So, if you're level 32 and you don't boost. Your end of season level should be level 43 (BOOSTING after final daily xp is awarded for Day 40)

If you're level 32 and you do boost, your end of season level should be 42.

Technically, if you're level 32 you can boost 1 level to level 33 and you'd turn level 41 the last day of the season (avoiding the daily xp hit) - and then can use your last two boosts to hit level 43.

If you're less than level 32, you can boost up to it (or level 33) and still get the most xp possible for the season.

This math is correct as we have something similiar put together by Chysil. What you are not taking into account is the VA hit that you take and the potential loss of interest from your agents if you are unable to compete. You may be able to overcome it thru gameplanning and if you can then great, but if not have fun dealing with the backlash. Whether you boost or not will not affect if you hit level 79 or not, and I havent found a way to make up 1000XP's anywhere in this new accelerated system.
