Yum Brands but still different products. I completely agree with the OP, I have seen plenty of poor business decisions but this one just does not make any sense at all.

The problem is that glb1 needs more users and cant afford to lose them to another competitor of the same genre. If there was someone who was somewhat interested in playing a football game online they came to glb1. now they can go to glb2 and glb1 suffers.

personally i find this next part ridiculous, and it should show warrior general how poor the glb2 decision in relation to glb1.
I have a player on a team in the university league. There are only two leagues there, elite and competitive. Outside of the elite league, the competitive league has only 9 out of 32 teams with teams that have at least 45 players or more. Additionally the Elite league only has 21 out of 32 teams that have 45 players or more. That means that if you combined the teams from both elite and competitive in the university level, you still would not have 1 full league of 32 teams with at least 45 or more players on it!

What is even more scary is that this isnt the only league level thats in bad shape numbers wise!

For me personally, GLB2 has made me enjoy GLB Classic more.

While I do like the ability to catch up point allocation without missing the window that you would on Classic, I feel most of us do not have a grip on where our points should even be allocated and are just guessing.

The replay leaves something to be desired on my computer because I have to pause between plays in order for video and description to sync -- otherwise it is showing me the previous play with the current play's description. On Classic, I tend to watch the line by line play by play -- but GLB2 gives you the whole thing at once so I may as well just look at the box scores.

GLB2 has potential -- but really made me focus on my teams here where I feel I have some idea of what I am doing.

My comment to OP is I have to agree. Another football game was dumb. Had it been anything else I would have immediately tried it and prob about a 90% chance put money into it right off the bat. But with it being another football game I dont even care to try it and will never put money into it, esp since its terrible compared to GLB1.
