The San Jose Chupacabra had their winning ways abruptly stopped, falling to the Los Angeles Reign 21-3.
The Reign dominated virtually every aspect of the game, shutting down the Chupacabra offense and racking up almost 300 rushing yards in a crushing defeat. Neither San Jose’s offense or defence had any answers for the onslaught.
“We had some significant communications issues in this game and it showed. It was a horrible game,” said Chupacabra owner, K9fiend.
The majority of San Jose’s players refused to comment on the game, avoiding the media on the way to the locker room. Outside linebacker Demetrius McQueen paused briefly to comment when asked what happened.
“What happened? You some type of fool? Look at the score! That’s what *%$-ing happened. Offense..defence…don’t matter. Ain’t nothin’ happened tonight but an ass-whuppin the wrong way,” ranted McQueen.
When asked about a prediction for the next game against Rhine, McQueen responded, “Yeah. I got a prediction. Pain.”
